Tire repurposing was honoured with the Green Product Award 2025 in the Initiatives category during the award ceremony on May 15th at the Nordic Embassies in Berlin. Embassy envoys and jurors such as Uwe Melichar (Touch Design Ltd.), Prof. Claus-Christian Eckhardt (Lund University), Katja Keienburg (baby&junior) presented the awards to winners from Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

The challenge lies not only in gathering this data correctly but also in doing so at an industrial cadence.

The future of industrial traceability is taking shape under the RFID and Digital Product Passports (DPP), and Europe is preparing to make them mandatory in several sectors, from textiles to tyres.

At the recent AAPEX Show 2024 (Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo), which welcomed over 126,000 attendees and featured more than 2,500 exhibitors, REGOM proudly co-exhibited alongside industry leaders like Michelin, ATEQ TPMS Tools, FASEP, and Devel. This premier event focuses on showcasing the latest advancements in the automotive aftermarket industry.

REGOM launched a state-of-the-art industrial line at TC Environnement (TCE). Located on a 4-hectare site in Cercy-la-tour, France, the facility represents a significant leap forward in tire sorting, identification, and recycling.

Tyre recycling is a vital industry that contributes significantly to environmental sustainability by repurposing millions of discarded tires each year. However, the process involves more than simply collecting and shredding tires. A crucial part of tire recycling is the precise sorting of tyres - a task that is both complex and time-consuming.
