AFNOR STANDARD
SALE AND ENTRY INTO CIRCULATION OF REUSABLE TYRES
In France, AFNOR is the reference organization for the development and awarding of standards.
Working closely together, AFNOR, the French eco-organism Aliapur and the group TC-Transports have developed a standard designed to provide a rigorous framework for the sorting and inspection of light vehicle used tyres : "Determining the control and quality criteria for the classification of reused tyres for light vehicles".
This comprehensive charter sets out the rules and criteria for sorting, inspecting, testing and remarketing remanufactured tyres, based on 17 strict control points.
This charter enables used tires to be transformed from the category of "waste" to that of a reusable product, suitable for reuse in its original function.
RCUBE LABEL
RECQ LABEL, "QUALITY RECONDITIONING"
Supported by the RCUBE federation, the RECQ "Quality reconditioning" label guarantees the quality of refurbished, reusable and reconditioned products on the second-hand market.
Ensures and reassures about the quality and safety of sold reusable tyres.
Professionalizing the market of reusable goods thanks to the definition and conservation of quality standards.
Awarded to companies by Dekra Certification, an independent certification body, it is a guarantee of conformity and safety, attesting to strict compliance with various assessment criteria defined in a set of specifications.
The label is awarded to high-quality second-hand products collected, reconditioned and distributed by eco-responsible professionals who advocate traceability, transparency and excellence, from a product, environmental and social point of view.
