WE ARE DEVELOPING IDENTIFICATION AND SORTING SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR USED TIRES
REGOM
We are a French company localised in Burgundy that provides innovative solutions for the identification and sorting of used tires worldwide.
REGOM was created by the transportation Group TC-Transports to help develop solutions to improve the sorting of tires on its 2 collection and sorting sites in France dealing with approximately 40.000T of light vehicle tires annually. After the successful development and launch of REGOM’s machines, the company started to commercialize and present its solutions in France and worldwide.
OUR ACTIVITIES
REGOM DEVELOPS INNOVATIVE MACHINES AND SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS TO EXTEND TIRE LIFE AND ANALYZE INFORMATION FROM USED TIRES FOR BETTER IDENTIFICATION.
Dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and maintenance of semi-automated used tire sorting machines, at REGOM, we aim to facilitate human labor, management, and selection operations.Through industrial sorting, these innovative systems are capable of profoundly improving sorters' working conditions, making productivity more reliable, and perfecting recovery criteria.
Thank to our experience for many years in the collection and sorting of used tires, for the French eco-organism Aliapur, we have been working for many years to develop solutions capable of simplifying operations. This extremely physical and complex activity is hard to manage because of its difficulty and business complexity.
Our offers are developped to answer the identification and separation needs of tire recyclers: material recovery, valorization, reuse, granulation and retreading . To adapt to the characteristics of each type of infrastructure, we decided to design MTP-TRI in a way that it could be implemented on any type of recycling line. With our own 2 collection and sorting plants, we are constantly doing R&D and working on ways to adapt the machine to our customer's needs and constraints thanks to our incredible technical and IT teams.
WHY SORT ?
Tyre sorting refers to the process of separating and categorizing used tires into different grades based on their condition and type.
The main aims of tire sorting are to :
-
preserve natural resources by recovering the maximum amount of valuable material from waste tires,
-
minimize the amount of waste that goes to landfill,
-
increase traceability of tires and collect data,
-
orientate tires to output corresponding to their characteristics
RECYCLER'S CHALLENGES
-
Lack of homogeneity in the deposit due to mixed collection
-
Finding a workforce for manual sorting (identification and quality control)
-
A lot of combinations to remember to orientate tires
-
Separation according to characteristics
-
Knowledge of tire intrants to answer legislations
-
Improve quality of exiting products
